  • Build-a-Bed Oct. 2026

October 15, 2026 Today, after the meeting Laurie Conroy, Mavis Fulco and Diana Yaris delivered quilts for the Build A Bed project. We were very surprised when Derrick Voss, Assistant Vice President of National Bank of Arizona, presented each of the three quilt clubs with a $500.00 check to purchase supplies for the quilts we make and donate. He also sent us the following message along with photos of children who received the quilts. They have been added to the website in the Charity, Build A Bed section. “The young men in some of the photos are the youth and their leaders from The Church of Jesus Christ. They have been a part of the building of the bed frames and have gone out on 3 or 4 delivery days. We also have a tremendous amount of help and support from Home Depot and their employees. They donated about 25K in lumber, saws, screws, etc. and hosted an all day build in their parking lot. Vsit the Build-a-Bed Charity page for full event, click here.

  • 2025-2026 Annual Wrap-up Meeting

May 19, 2026 Wrap Up of CRQ 1025-2026 Season! We have had a great season. We learned new methods, created beautiful quilts, shared good fellowship, as well as good leadership, committee chairs, members and increased our membership with many more creative quilters. We closed out with an outstanding “United We Quilt” show and a potluck lunch at our meeting on May 19, 2026. President, Marsha has given a special honor to one individual during her three years as president. This year she honored Phylis Andrews. Marsha told the story of how we joined the group at the same time and we are two of the few “Old Timers” still active in the guild. We give a big thank you to our outgoing officers and welcome the new officers. We look forward to another super season come September. We hope you enjoy your summer wherever it takes you! From Left, Linda Higuera, Treasurer; Eunice Lafler, Secretary; Melinda Sobraski, President and Marla Merryman, Vice President
