The Colorado River Quilters (CRQ) assists other charitable organizations in the tri-state area.

Colorado River Quilters coordinates charity projects with two other quilt guild groups in our community.  They are:

• Stitch N Rippits Quilt Club , Fort Mohave, AZ

• Quilts of Comfort, Fort Mohave, AZ

 

We work with CASA, Kiwanis, Fort Mohave Indian Tribe, Local Hospitals, Various Hospice Facilities and others as needed. We provide handmade items such as quilts, pillows, pillowcases, baby layettes and more. From time-to-time we get requests for special needs. CRQ helps where we can.

Below you will find individual charity activities with descriptions and pictures of various charitable activities. Beyond those charitable events, CRQ also donates to the following:

• Head Start Center in Bullhead City and Fort Mohave. 140 children's pillows.

• Family Services, 30 Mommy and Me blankets.

• Women's Shelter, 20 quilts.

• Western Area Regional Medical Center (WARMC), 100 blankets for Hospice Program.

• Backpack Buddies, 15 hats.
